BIG mountain with BIG lines.
Tenjin is the access point to Mt Tanigawa, one of the best BIG mountain areas in Japan, with a variety of great tree runs and massive laskan style alpine terrain. However it also comes with its difficulties. The mountain is prone to bad weather and closure and also has high avalanche risk. For this reason it is a hard tour to schedule so best to always have a backup plan. If you get it on its day it doesn’t get much better than this.
Please note that this is a custom tour away from our home base of Nozawa. Prices will vary to cover transport and additional costs.

Whether you are a newbie to backcountry looking to learn how to use all the gear and access some untracked powder, or a veteran of the BC looking for something steep and deep, we will find a group of others that have a similar amount of BC experience to you.

| REQUIREMENTS | The minimum age to join our tours is 13 years old.
Participants under 18 need a guardian to be present on the tour. Participants under 20 need a signature from a guardian. A minimum level of fitness and downhill skiing/riding ability is required for our tours. Please refer to our Ability Levels. Tours in Tenjin are only available as a private tour As Tenjin is closed more often than other resorts, it is strongly recommended that you have a longer range of availability and flexibility in your schedule Due to the difficult terrain at Tenjin this resort is only available for those with previous backcountry experience |
