T he recent storms have brought a welcomed dump of the white gold to Nozawa with the upper mountain receiving over 120cm of snow in 48 hours. After initial settling of the snow pack the base now stands at 100cm which means we are on track to start BC in early January (200cm base required).…

The first storms starting hitting last week and now the top of the mountain is covered in a 20cm blanket of the white gold! More snow forecast for the next few days and the Japan Met office is forecasting low temps and more than average snowfall for the next month:…
