Myoko Private Tours

Myoko boasts one of the deepest snowpacks in Japan

Myoko is one of Japan’s premier backcountry destinations, famous for its huge snowfall, averaging over 14 meters per season, and consistently ranking among the deepest snowpacks in Japan. Nestled on the impressive volcanic terrain of Mt. Myoko, this region offers unparalleled backcountry skiing and snowboarding experiences.

From gladed tree runs to open alpine bowls, Myoko delivers a perfect mix of terrain for all skill levels. Our certified backcountry guides create tailored tours to match your group’s ability and fitness level, ensuring a safe and unforgettable adventure in Japan’s legendary powder snow.

Whether you’re chasing deep powder lines, exploring hidden backcountry zones, or looking to experience authentic Japanese backcountry culture, Myoko is the ultimate destination for serious skiers and snowboarders.

Our private tours start at ¥100,000 per tour up to 4 people, and ¥25,000 per additional participant. (max 6 people)

Routes and skill levels

The route will be chosen and customised by your guide to match the skill and experience of your group

Whether you are a newbie to backcountry looking to learn how to use all the gear and access some untracked powder, or a veteran of the BC looking for something steep and deep, we will design a private tour to fit your needs! If you are looking for especially big days with big terrain, a private tour is your best option.

If you are interested in sharing a guide with a group, we run group tours in Nozawa Onsen.
