Go steep and deep with EXCLUSIVE first tracks!
Known to locals as Tenjin, Mt. Tanigawadake is one of Japan’s most legendary backcountry destinations. This area offers some of the most challenging and rewarding terrain in the country, with steep alpine lines, perfectly spaced trees, and some of the deepest, driest powder around.
With Canyons Backcountry Tours, you’ll enjoy exclusive first tracks a full 30-minute head start before anyone else giving you VIP access to untouched powder from the top of the Ropeway.
This is advanced terrain for experienced riders only. If you’re craving big mountain lines and deep powder, Mt. T delivers every time. Not sure if you’re ready? Our team is here to guide you through the details and make sure you’re set for a safe, unforgettable day.
Our private tours start at ¥100,000 per tour up to 4 people, and ¥25,000 per additional participant.
The route will be chosen and customised by your guide to match the skill and experience of your group
Whether you are a newbie to backcountry looking to learn how to use all the gear and access some untracked powder, or a veteran of the BC looking for something steep and deep, we will design a private tour to fit your needs! If you are looking for especially big days with big terrain, a private tour is your best option.
If you are interested in sharing a guide with a group, we run group tours in Nozawa Onsen.
